thedaniel wanted me to post a picture of some of the art work we were given by a friend of ours that was leaving Japan. This is entitled "Jump," and it is pressed ceramic done in the Shigaraki style. What that all means, I don't know, but that is what it is. We wish T from Hinoe well as he travels west by train through China, Russia, and Europe.

We went to Eigenji, was it a week ago? maybe two weeks ago? It has been a blur. We went out looking at all the changing leaves. It was gorgeous. Enjoy.
